I do not know exact figures but I guess there are just a few hunderd of usable survivors nowadays.

IMO all the US cars had the dual round headlamps as there was some law that all cars of that era had to have sealed-beam lights - ie. vacuum unit which meant different headlamp unit than the rest of world

Another question is how many US users have retrofited them to the EU lamps.

I know of four (4) 2000 CS/CA that are in New Mexico.
two(2) sitting in a collectors yard, one (1) in Santa Fe and mine.
Most have some rust and I have seen one in Colorado that was toast.
Any others in NM??

Thanks for putting this list together.

I just picked up a white 2000cs about a year ago here in Hawaii from an older man who was about to let it go to time and weather because he could not work on cars and no shop will touch it. Good thing i got it in time before any bad rust started, im shure theres no other cs/c here in Hawaii but there might be one in Oahu i highly doubt it though.

I've got three. 2 for parts 1101487 and 1002102. My good one is 1000525. The crazy thing is 1101487 has a CS number, but it is fitted with an automatic transmission. It looks original. Any ideas? :?: It would be neat to have a list of all the VIN's and find out where they all are and their condition, options, etc.
